Petr Hůza – Small Forms
Curator: Silvia L. Čúzyová
24/2–27/4/2025
Petr Hůza (1974) is an internationally established creator of utilitarian and artistic porcelain objects. He continues the tradition of his material and craft, masterfully innovating it with dedication and respect for today's user. He creates with a significant fresh style combining classical techniques with the application of new media. The porcelain prints are composed of playful ideas and spectacular motifs, from simple polka dots to unique décor inspired by pixel graphics. Peter Hůza has an extraordinary sense for remarkable things and also has a refined sense for what porcelain fulfils in the most basic sense of the word, namely content, details, colours, textures and delicious compositions. Small porcelain objects, seemingly ordinary things that accompany us through exceptional times, represent a private dolce vita and delicate moments of personal joy in everyday life.
